DIANA S. AYOTTE, CMHC

Diana is the proud mom of four kids ranging in age from 18 to 28 and grandma to Kammon and Kirie. She is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor specializing in women's issues, child and adolescent counseling and sandtray therapy. She practices in her St George office called Serendipity.

Diana is also trained to perform Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a technique used to resolve symptoms resulting from exposure to a traumatic or distressing event. Diana implements many experiential techniques such as art, music and metaphor into the therapeutic process. Other areas of expertise include marriage and family therapy, addictions, chronic pain, and adoption. Diana is also approved by the courts in Washington County to provide treatment for substance abuse, theft, domestic violence, and anger management.

Diana was born and raised in Brigham City, UT, but she recently relocated to SUNNY ST. GEORGE. She enjoys her service with the SouthWest affiliate of NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness). She is also an instructor of psychology at Stevens-Henager College.

Diana earned a degree in Psychology from Weber State University and a Master of Counseling degree from the University of Phoenix.
